Teksouth is currently searching for a Knowledge Management SME for our location in Pearl Harbor, HI.

Position will be onsite at Pearl Harbor and will require candidate to have an Active SECRET Clearance, Navy Finance background and a Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

The Knowledge Management Analyst performs work that encompasses identifying, capturing, rendering and organizing information as knowledge assets for transferable use through intuitive search and retrieval systems as a foundation for knowledge sharing, procedural reference and organizational learning.

Primary responsibilities include development of knowledge base materials, facilitation and leadership of knowledge capture sessions, moderator for knowledge communities and participation in process improvement engagements.

Knowledge base materials may consist of job-aids, performance support tools, procedure documents, and quick reference guides.

Planning, developing, coordinating and programming the execution of organizational KM-related policies, activities and resources to ensure the timely acquisition and efficient dissemination of information to geographically-dispersed stakeholders.

Perform business analysis to identify process improvements and implement knowledge sharing practices; create and facilitate KM working group meetings and conduct workshops and training in KM and SP best practices.

  • Develop and enforce SOPs, governance policies, charters and other documentation.

  • Prepare functional specs from which programs will be written and design/code/test/debug/document programs.

  • Created and conducted Knowledge management training

  • Conducts Knowledge Management working groups to facilitate knowledge sharing practices.

  • Understanding of Operational KM, knowledge or current Navy Resource systems or can learn them easily, and experience integrating people into new processes as they are developed.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Knowledge Management (KM) best practices

  • Experience in the ability to share information through classified networks using the latest collaboration tools such as SIPRnet, VSE, CAS, etc.

  • Experience with SharePoint

  • Experience in supporting the Command and Control (C2) of Joint Forces, capable of integrating Joint Forces staff augments and

  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification

  • IT strategic planning

  • Navy Resource Systems

  • Secret Clearance
